Having done a few scud runs in my time in foggy Cornwall and wet Ireland, if you don't have the capability to pump up through it when you have reached your grovel limits ( twin, auto pilot and airport ILS to recover to), just land and have a fag... no drama and you live to fight another day... it's a no brainer
