I find it difficult to reconcile the numbers involved with crew ballotting and striking.

So about 5500 recently voted online to reject the last BA proposal.
Around 2500 actually went on strike last time.

There are 13,000 total crew, of whom just under 10,000 are Bassa members.

So it seems to me that less than a 3rd are likely to strike this time.

There are many really fantastic crew in BA. Many have been very brave in coming to work and standing up to the militants. Many are intelligent enough to realise the practicalties and reality of coming to an agreement with BA.
It does always seem to me that the best crew respect their job , and their employer; and the pilots too!

So let's not tar them all with the same brush.

Last word on csd pay.
Basic full time csd pay is 44,000 ish.
add 9,000 for allowances
and add 9,000 for other payments (mtp figure which is , allegedly, not high enough).

et voila, 62,000pa
