The company is going down the toilet with nobody at the helm and with no clear direction for the future
On the contrary - BA has never had such a clear future, and objective. Resolve the cost base, permanently, or go bust. The objective? To get lasting change throughout the company. That means CC too. To fail means we will wither and die as a business. The only people who fail to see it are BASSA.

The clear direction for the future now, as far as this dispute goes, is as follows:

Willie Walsh, as CEO of British Airways, with the unequivocal support of the board, the major and minor shareholders, and all other working groups in BA, will not allow BASSA to hold the company to ransom, nor be in a position to ever wreak carnage on this company again. THAT is what this dispute is now about.
