I never made fast jets in the air force, I got given the scraps "Caribou" but one of the distinct advantages of flying this slippery beast was the humanitarian work that I did throughout south east Asia.
Back when I was learning the "trade" flying the mighty "Herc" in that tropical paradise known as SE Asia there were rumors about an RAAF Caribou. It seems this Caribou was carrying contraband whiskey and ladies of negotiable virtue. This daring young aviator would land in the most remote areas and provide an evening of refreshment and pleasure to those gallant lads defending the Empire.
