I do wish that people would stop wittering about lo co's coming to Teesside. This is exactly what started the rot in the first place. Placating and bending over backwards to do everything to get them in to fly the same routes as old friends such as the Thomson group who were steadily ignored by the airport.Thomson are still here but where are the rest?
As for Easyjet coming to Teesside, two chances ,fat and no. Easy fly from Somewhere to Somewhere not as we are which is near Somewhere to Somewhere.Anyway Stelios is taking the management to court to stop them expanding and so that would snooker it anyway.
Small regional airports like Teesside do holiday charters well. Stick to what you are good at and only take business from lo co's on your own terms which in the main means don't crap on your oldest customers.
