If he was flying with Jet2 or Monarch....he wouldnt be flying to Liverpool would he!
Im sure you have realised by now, its cancelled. The problem is that Liverpool closed at 1300 Local time, so no planes could depart from Liverpool to Barcelona, otherwise, easyJet would have got you back to the UK. Plus several of the morning flights into Liverpool were diverted elsewhere (LTNx2, BRS, BHX) meaning the aircrafts are out of place for when the airspace does open
