You have a very good point my friend. With the tech, gps and map displays one should think it is the one to use. But the authorities insist on raw data. Having said that ...no one can Monday night quarterback the guys flying. Let's just say a prayer for them. We as pilots live in the soapers' house, meaning we can all slip and slide any day.
