Poaching. Stupid comment.

TOT, 'poaching' what a ludicrous comment. Does that mean that my local Starbucks are a bunch of poachers (and the way in which you say it implies poachers = bad people, which I agree with) because they have set up in my local town that already has a Costa and in fact a Nero's. That should then mean there are two poachers.

Competition is a fact of life, get used to it. If we did not have it then standards would not have to be so high. Those companies that historically have enjoyed being the only operator have not had to worry about losing custom. Perhaps that is what is needed at Bournemouth, I don't know.

An example of poaching would be the competitor contacting each customer of the other lot and goading them away offering a far superior service or cheaper costs etc. Even if they contacted those customers and said this is who we are and that's it then is that really poaching, I don't believe so.
