I thought it would be interesting to have a thread detailing the old and original destinations we get to and what we see and do whilst there. Anything interesting happen during the flight etc.
Seeing as you asked, I'm at the end of my duty waiting to position home from Moscow. Staring at the departures board wondering why my flight is the only one delayed by 5 hours. Thank the techies for giving us smart phones and free wifi.
We had a fairly good duty, went to Donetsk in Ukraine for the first time. Nice town for a day or two. Very good hotel; Donbas palace where they put rose petals in the toilet bowl!?
Malta also for the first time. Overtook airmalta a320 abeam Naples, was asked to keep the speed up all the way down to the ILS 13. It worked out nicely. Then had to hold on the apron for airmalta to catch up and land so that we could re-enter the Rwy and backtrack to parking.
still no change to the departures board.
