Greeting's every one.
@divdby0, on what grounds did DGCA reject your BE76 rating ?
The only cause I can see is the lack of recency and skill test.
Was it more than 6 months after your last flight that you applied to DGCA for your license ?
Every one seems to be missing something here.
The problem back in 2005 - 06 -07 was that all your final checks had to be done in India. Since one couldn't perform a skill test on a BE76 or any other airplane which is not present in India, it was advised that one get a Multi Engine Rating on a airplane which is available for a Skill test ride in India (Seneca, B200, P68,etc).
But after the circular in 2008 (I think), it was ascertained that one could perform all checks abroad and just submit the papers to DGCA for license issue.
And ever since then, there has been no requirement for following any list.
Just ensure you have the recency requirements and off you go with a CPL.
All the best.
