If it had ended yesterday, UNITE would have had to announce the result before the General Election result was known! Not of course that UNITE have any vested interest in the Labour Party

A cynic may suggest that the GE had some influence on UNITE/BAASSA ending their 'consultation' at 23:59 on 6th May
