Ocean Sky to Buy Monarch Hangar
Yes, to the best of my knowledge H7/8 are the original two hangars with which the Airport was opened in 1938, having been built a year or two before. Others soon followed though as the Airport moved onto a war footing. I wasn't here (or anywhere then...), but reading and old pics confirm that.
Do we know why Monarch are selling the hangar - lack of enough business to justify keeping three? Or are they investing further at MAN?
