Qatar Air to receive 6 Boeing 787s next year - CEO

DUBAI, May 4 (Reuters) - Qatar Airways increased its order for Boeing's (
BA.N) new 787 Dreamliner to six from two and expects to take delivery by September next year, the carrier's Chief Executive Akbar al-Baker told journalists.
"At the moment,
we will be receiving six 787s next year; initially it was two," Baker told journalists at a conference on Tuesday. Baker said the unlisted national carrier hoped to conclude talks with Canada's Bombardier (
BBDb.TO) over the
purchase of 20-30 C-series aircraft by July.
