Have to agree with Lars. While it was a nice place to visit, by the end of the 2 nights and 3 days I was there, I was REALLY ready to leave. My wife is Korean, and even she was shocked that well over 50% of the tourist, were Korean. There was even a very well known Korean electronics firm having a big meeting there, all the way down to big banners on the beach.
As for Caticlan, a very quaint airport with about a 2500 ft runway. There is no taxiway, and on one end of the runway, there is a road running perpendicular, that is closed for take offs and landings. Kind of fun to taxi down the runway, and spin at the end. Then feel the strain as the pilot REALLY revs up the props while standing on the brakes before launch.
I also gave up on Cebu Pacific and use PAL for most of my domestic flying.
