Very strange announcement from FCC as this work was completed sometime ago.
"First Capital Connect has advised that owing to planned engineering work to lengthen the platforms at Luton Airport Parkway station, there will be no train service between St Albans and Bedford on Sunday May 2, 9 or 16.
Replacement buses will operate directly between the Airport terminal and St Albans/Bedford.
A reduced service will also operate on Saturday May 1, 8 and 15 and on Bank Holiday Monday May 3"
