Yeah, it's been confirmed by Aeros. Operations Director has said
“We are confident that we can deliver a first class GA operation for pilots in South Wales. The facilities at Cardiff are excellent and we are looking forward to commencing activities on 1st June. Local pilots will be able to enjoy the use of Aeros twenty five strong fleet of aircraft including Piper Warriors/Arrows, Cessna 152’s and Robins...The building on the south side of the airport has a café, ample free parking and a great view of the runway. We invite any existing or potential pilots to call in and see us at any time seven days a week or phone us on 01446 710000. Friends and family are also very welcome."
Wonder whether it will be the PPL side of things like their Filton base or Commercial like Gloucester? Nothing on their main website yet though. Regardless, it's great news for Cardiff.
