wizz expansion etc
To me this is a very interesting development by Wizz to operate between two ´´western´´ countries. Good luck to them, I hope they succeed because they certainly have found a niche market in routes to and from eastern Europe and they and Ryanair do not seem to step on each others toes too much. I would not be surprised if they started a Rome service as the capital of Italy is not served from Luton (it used to be a Ryanair route as was Treviso). It seems strange looking from afar that Wizz seem reasonably happy with the ´´deal´´ they have with Luton and easy don´t but easy never seem to be satisfied wherever they operate for long. Also it still looks to me that they are still operating 15 aircraft from Luton so not much of a cutback as yet although a number of rotations have been axed.
I wonder if anybody else noticed that the Transavia Rotterdam-Gatwick route is still not performing as well as the Luton service with the March figures some 500 passengers short.
