Algonquin Flight Centre have closed down. The training facility itself was said to be excellent. Algonquin became associated with an agency that recruited cadets internationally and this didn't work out.

For your own sake it would probably be best to steer clear of the school because the organisation that caused Algonquin's demise ended up owning Algonquin Flight Centre.

See the link below highlighting some of the problems encountered by people there. I don't believe the problem was with the school itself but with the organisation calling itself the Canadian Aviation Academy. See link below.

Moncton once offered JAA training but suspended JAA training in 2008 due to a shortage of instructors. If you plan to work in FAA land then it may suit you to train there
