I know what you mean about the people vs boarding sequence number.
I have flown with CityJet through LCY a few times recently, and gotta say it is great they still have so many features of a traditional service airline, boiled sweets, full complementary bar, snacks included, even hot chocolate at breakfast time.
I know this doesn't in itself justify high fares, but when you are paying high fares it is great to be treated as a human - I even got recognised by the Cabin Supervisor on my last flight!
