You are right Jack. the Shakespeare is corrupt.
The phrase, from The Merchant of Venice, is:
"All that glisters is not gold..."
With a later allusion by Thomas Gray:
"Not all that tempts your wand'ring eyes
And heedless hearts, is lawful prize;
Nor all that glisters, gold."
That seems to define the affair with The Brunette.
