A bit rich blaming the hadling agent along with airline. The handling agent is just that an agent for the airline and they must do nothing until they are told what to do by the airline. They are only as good as what the airline tells them.
It would be stupid staff member that authorised meals hotac etc assuming the airline would pay up rather than waiting for the ok from the airline!
