Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining as such, I just said I didn't want to pay $25 to go there.
......but you would pay $200 (or whatever) in order to save the $25??????????
As others have alluded - the itinerants don't put their aircraft on display (unlike Avalon), it costs money to pay for the busses to drive you to airshow side of the runway and the pilots cause the most hassle. The CASA guys wandering around got quite hot under the collar with some of the behaviour observed early in the morning from what I heard of what was going on.
