. How long can airlines continue to take this unprecedented punishment of their wallets? Cimber-Sterling was hanging by a thread (as I understand it at least) even before the shutdown, by now that thread must be down to a single fiber.
At some point the already broke countries from the recession will have to fork out millions to save aviation. That's bound to be popular with the general masses.
(of course, last time the thing blew up it kept going for a year which would really make for an interesting development in northern europe, but one thing at a time eh
