Ash cloud a hazard for pitot tube / airspeed indicator!

Hey folks

How big is the risk of the ash to pitot tubes? Any studies on that topic?
Hazard on slow aircraft compared to fast aircraft?

Thanks for any inputs or links to studies on that.
