Cool CPAP machines used by pax

these allow sleep apnea sufferers to sleep normally and are allowed by more airlines now than before on long flights

all CPAP machines ( say see-pap) are supposed to be approved by the airline and often a seat with a power point ot outlet is provided. sometimes a battery to operate it is bought aboard instead, the battery also supposed to be approved by the airline

there doubts that some powerpoints intended for laptops are suitable for the extra power that a CPAP needs

however, now on some flights, apnea sufferers bring along their CPAPs and battery, neither having been approved by the airline. batteries can be several types, some might explode, and some CPAPs might catch on fire if not connected properly. these people report never having been questioned or challenged by cabin staff

sleep apnea is often undiagnosed, the sufferer has loud and legendary snoring, with gasping for breath and often shaking. most unpleasant for the pax

at least a CPAP user wont be snoring
