For completeness, and to avoid a charge of picking only the best figures, perhaps we should add that movements were down by 9.4% on March 09 and that the rolling year's movements were down by 10.1%.
To put that all in context, March 09 was a pretty dire month with passengers down by 19.9% on March 08. So the "good figure" of -1.3% from the second worst monthly figures on record (in terms of percentage decrease on the previous year) can't give much cause for optimism at this stage.
Interesting, too that the February figures were recalculated on 12th April, knocking 49 movements (i.e. just over 1%) off the previously declared figure. Seems to be quite a large discrepancy - surely they can count better than that?
