The tories are already letting their squeaky-clean image drop (Lord Ashcroft, Chris Grayling); Labour are Labour - tired greedy old cronys who just lie and peddle. Voting for Labour feels plain wrong: Iraq, Afganistan, colluding with the Americans over torture and then systematically lying about it, umpteen 'security' laws that are really just an excuse to erode what is left of our basic human rights. But my gut feeling is that under the conservatives the vast majority of us will be worse off than we already are. £3 a week won't compensate for higher VAT, slashed public services, reduced tax credits etc etc
I am worried and more than a little suspicious by the fact that given how dire the state of affairs is in the UK, why are the Tories not offering more choice? Surely as the main opposition they should be shouting wildly at us all the things they are going to do to freshen this country up!
