Those boots look familiar? Was that photo before or after the morning dip in the Huon Gulf, as I seem to recall one pair remained in the Huon Gulf?

I have a feeling tinpis is on the money:

Keglsugl, a bit battered today. 8190' amsl 2200' feet long?
It was the highest elevation airstrip in PNG, but there was higher elevation strips in West Irian.
