Everything the A320 did, but with so much greater clarity, and none of the nonsense that over-engineering the flight controls brought about...
The man/machine interface was the finest I've ever experienced, exemplified by the FMA saying, for example, IASE to indicate that IAS is being maintained by the Elevator, as opposed to, for example, MT, showing Mach is being maintained by Thrust. Just brilliant, and I genuinely hope that if the NG aircraft does come about, I'll wangle my way onto one.
Just have to keep my trap shut at Toulouse about how brilliant it is!
The scud epithet was, I believe, not deserved... Tech problems I had were few and far between, and technical despatch rate in the right hands was pretty good.
