I have been using McAfee for some 2 years now and have been entirely satisfied. However, a problem about which I know nothing occured, and I had to uninstall VirusScan5.21 in favour of VirusScan6.0. It was a disaster trying to replace one with the other! McAfee sent me an 11 page doc on how to rid my pooter of every single file of 5.21 so that 6.0 would load. ALL my efforts were fruitless and, in the end, pointless.
I was advised to load AVG, which is free, and I have to say that I am delighted. It found 6 viruses and 'healed' them. It updates itself automatically and it doesn't slow down the pooter unlike a lot of other programmes.
Change to AVG is my advice. For what it is worth.
