Interesting words from Noel Hayes. I would bet that any new routes will be from markets that competitors cant readily access namely Gloucester, Oxford and possibly Blackpool airport.

I would also guess that Manx would do these are 1 stop IOM services ie IOM Oxford Jersey etc. However not sure.

He is correct in what he says about the market being unsustainable when there is overcapacity as the market is limited.

However, watch EZY come into the market is quite a statement. I reckon EZY are testing the water against Flybe testing their resolve and also the viability of the 319 on these thin routes versus Flybe.

EZY may be looking at what BE does with a view to doing the same and maybe at a later date add smaller commuter types. Could be a good weapon in niche markets?
