class 1 medical in india follows air force standards of health and are conducted at few air force hospitals though some private hospitals are also allowed now to conduct these tests...the tests can easily last for two days,many tests like ECG,EEG are part of the medical which is not included in the F.A.A medical....the doctors are quite strict and dont hesitate to fail you even if there is a small shortcoming....i believe you can give directly class 1 med if you hold a foreign license and current medical...though im not sure of it......and yeah getting a class 1 med appointment is nt easy ,you need to contact the center atlest 2 months before your planned medical....if you need the list of centers conducting class 1 med look up at dgca website....
