Com SOP's
What is the general consensus on the use of your com radios?
A. #1 Primary (all ATC), #2 Secondary (ATIS, unicom, FSS, air to air, etc.)
B. #2 Primary with #1 Secondary (as above)
C. #1 Primary (ATC air), #2 Secondary (ATC ground, ATIS, unicom, FSS, etc.)
D. Other
It would be helpful if you could include your type of operation (airline, corporate, 135, etc), two pilot / single pilot, and type of equipment. Also mention whether this is your personal preference or company policy. Please include any brief explanation to justify your choice.
I know what I prefer, I just want to see if I'm in the majority or the loose wheel!
