pros and cons

I considered this job last year. I weighed up the risks and concluded " 'it' probably won't happen to me". Glad they didn't get back to me though....

....A week or two back my mate could hardly stop talking about his friend who worked for Safi. He was in the hotel in Afghanistan when a muslim exploded outside the hotel. A piece of bomb or hotel wall or something got into his leg (pilot's, not muslim's) and missed his femoral artery by enough that he's still alive, albeit with about 14 staples in his thigh and sans pilot licence.

I really feel for this guy. It could have been any of us who might justify that we need the time that badly.

Am I for real? I saw the photo.

Even if they WERE paying danger money, think about this poor guy. But wait...they're not.
