A small bit of good news on the land transport side of things in that Skylink have now been licensed to run a bus service form the airport to the train station

In theory, it should help make Cork a more attractive option for people who live along the rail lines to Dublin and Kerry (not sure it would be such a benefit for people on the Midleton or Cobh lines) or for the substantial number of tourists bound for Killarney. Now to make sure that people become aware that the route is available.
Given the lack of publicity given to Citylink's Galway-Limerick-Mallow-Cork Airport service, I don't hold out huge hope.
