Maybe they just wanted some fish to put in their "chilli bun". Maybe they wanted to test out their new "jandles bro".
Who knows.
In all seriousness though, the good thing is they walked away from it. So that counts for a good landing. The fact that they can use the a/c afterwards (albeit needing a new engine) means that infact it was a great landing
