Hey,
I'm new in this forum and first want to say something about my person.
My name is Daniel, I'm 16 years old (almost - on Tuesday I'll become 16) and I live in the southern Germany near Stuttgart. I started my GPL (Glider Pilots Licence) last year. My dream is to become a pilot - that's the reason for the following questions
The half of my family lives in South Africa and I think of making my education there. But I only found very little information about the education in South Africa.
Could you please explain to me the complete education process - I mean which licences I have to make and so on.
The next question is, if any airline in South Africa makes an "ab initio" - education?
And is there an appreciable difference in payment when you compare the job with Germany?
And my final question: Are the chances good to get a job as a non South African and as a white (I know that there is this law, that primarily blacks have to be hired.
Greetings from rainy Germany
Daniel
