The Gatton one is reported as follows:
A pilot is in a critical condition in hospital after being seriously injured when her light plane ditched at Laidley, west of Brisbane.
She suffered two broken ankles and cuts to her head and face when the plane crashed in a paddock around midday.
The woman was put on life support in a rescue helicopter and was flown to the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
She will remain on life support and undergo CT scans to assess her head injuries.
Investigations will look into why the pilot did not make a distress call before the crash.
