I had the opportunity to join the Airlines a few years ago before the current turndown, but having listened to the views here on PPRUNE and talked with many a pilot over the years, I decided it was probably better to just fly for enjoyment.....and I would say I made a good choice as far as that goes.
£12000 PM, Tax Free. Only PPL and old Pitts, but fly Aeros as and when I wish...and enjoy it.
