The reason I'm surfing around on headsets is that my Bose X that I've had for 4 years now is going to have to go in for repair again! That will make it 3 times in 4 years. I love the Bose for the comfort, but reliability and durability are not great.
The last 2 times I sent it for repair the cost was zero, so I will give Bose 2 thumbs up for customer service.
One of the pilots here on base (flying the 76C++ high impedance) has a Lightspeed and he is very happy with it. I think that will be my next headset as I agree with other posters that the Bose has zero passive reduction and the constant repair is getting tiresome.
I am waiting for Lightspeed to makea high Impedance version so I can replace my Bose.
As far as I can tell the only thing Lightspeed makes is high impedance. I don't see an option for low on the Zulu.
