If it ceases to be an airfield, it'll presumably become a gravel pit and then a landfill before it becomes houses. Do the NIMBYs prefer that?
Also, the request for extra due diligence doesn't sit well with the meeting mentioned above which took place last night. Wasn't there a users' meeting this morning?
