I think you've got me with that one, SP!
The only mission strip I can remember with a dog leg and a slope like that was one located west of Madang (I can't remember its name), but the picture doesn't look quite right for it to be that one. The dogleg on that strip occurred right at the top of the first slope and you had to know it was there and be ready to apply rudder to change the direction of your landing roll, otherwise you would run off the side of the strip when you rolled over the crest!
