I'd be thinking long and hard about leaving the RAAF for a LCC. As I've said before
VB on the 737 looks reasonable but anything less is a touch and go proposition. If you've made SQNLDR by the 10 year mark you're better off waiting rather than jumping early. It might mean you take longer for Captaincy if you end up going to a LCC but the much higher salary, larger bonuses, and good super a SQNLDR is on in defence more than offsets this. By all means jump if it suits but do your home work first.
