I had an informal interview with my FEG manners, they're worried. They have already asked the powers that be to increase the retention bonus and they have gone around my unit asking each pilot without ROSO, 'do we need to be worried about you?'. I know two who have had interviews and a couple more that have applications in (including me).

All of us are looking at LCC's, we would prefer a mainline airline but....

The RAAF's not the place it was when I started flying, I guess that is to be expected but I don't like the direction my FEG is heading. When I was a boggy I didn't care about such things, the flying was cool, the beer was cold and the shims were hot.

Maybe I'm one of those "malcontents and deadwood" - might be time to move on .

p.s. Wannabe's don't be discouraged, it still beats working for a living.
