Freight businesses should know by now where Prestwick is, so why do we need to use the GLASGOW prefix?
I'm just surprised that renaming hasn't been mentioned recently, especially with the Homecoming - Burns 250th - going on last year. Surely tourist numbers would have been affected positively if we had promoted the "
Scottish Bard" brand.
Is it to late to ask that the Ayrshire airport be renamed "The Robert Burns International Airport, Prestwick" after the Greatest Scottish Hero Ever?
Perhaps with Tam and Ian back there's a chance of some common sense.
Use Glasgow as a bonus.
