And a socialist as I might sound, I am not at all, I just think that if everyone puts in a little bit of effort, the world would be such a better place to live in.

I am doing graduate studies, but that doesn't mean I didn't give a taste at the lowest levels of jobs you can get. I worked as a baggage handler for 2 summers, I built concrete sleepers (for train tracks) another time (very very dirty and heavy labour, much more than baggage handling!). I also prepared ready meals and worked for an industrial bakery as a temp. I have lots of experiences in at the lower level, and I can see that some people at the highest ends don't seem to really know what's going on in the company they work for, and that's why we get situations like this.

I really hope that people will realise that flybe is using most you, and keeping all the cards in their advantage, just by giving you a "false" joker but pretending you are being partially sponsored. Well here's the news, you're not, they lend you the money, and you have to pay it back on a crap salary.

I must say that it's not as bad as I make it sound, because there are some advantages in the scheme in terms of taxes and no interests in the loan, but throughout your training they reserve the right for themselves to not take you for any reason at the end of your training and you'll still end up with 76k debt and an MPL (less widely accepted than ATPL).

I just think it's a pitty because it really looks like a pretty package from outside, but inside, it's not too far off the standard "Oxford Integrated and finding a job on your own" training.

If you have any comments on what I said, do not hesitate to prove me wrong, because somehow I wish I was.

Best of luck.
