Yes, this was a piston-powered Porter that Talair acquired from Wirui Air Services (Catholic Mission Wewak) in some sort of horse-trading deal. No doubt Torres would recall the details.
As I recall it was being used for an endorsement when it suffered some sort of mishap, and then spent many years sitting by the fence. There were plans to rebuild it and install a PT6, but it just never seemed to happen.
