I do agree with you, especially on critical length runways....
I just realized that half the time, I am landing on critical length runways. The boss always wants to put the biggest airplane into the smallest airports (convenient for him, and a challenge for me!), and of course he wants to tanker fuel as much as possible from places where we get it cheap, so on top of that we are often at max landing weight, too.
Ahhhh...the life of a bizjet pilot!
