What do you think about with operational settings?

In their own discription of the system gulfstream writes
Wing De-ice systems, i.e. boots, require vacuum and pressure sources, a timer, drain, and selector valves. Since very little flow is required, existing sources can be used (e.g. cabin outflow valve vacuum).
It's just that the whole gulfstream story sounds to good to be true.
