Do you really think Immigration will bow down to the airport and all of a sudden put on extra staff just because the airport wants it?
Don't forget in a perfect world we will have surplus of staff kicking their heels waiting for a palne or two. Wake up and smell the Coffee and be realistic if our economy was boombing and airline industry was expanding at the rate it was a few years back then you would have a fighting chance.
But when the airline industry is still in a bad way and most areas loosing a lot of money then somethings have to give way and minimum staffing levels is what is needed for these companies to stay in business.
What is the % split bewteen Lo-cost, Charter and full service at BOH?
Full service pays the most and Lo-costs pays very little if at all.
Are BOH not building a new terminal? Things maybe much better then.
